As the lead UI designer, I was tasked with rebranding infiniVerse, Infinidat's cloud-based storage management platform. While Infinidat underwent a corporate rebranding, its applications including infiniVerse were left unchanged, creating a disconnect between the product and the company's new visual identity. My goal was to revamp the UI, improve usability, and align the platform with Infinidat's modern, minimalist branding.
One of the biggest challenges was ensuring the updated design didn’t disrupt long-time users who were accustomed to the existing layout. Storage admins had developed strong workflows around the current interface, and a significant overhaul posed the risk of slowing down their operations. Additionally, infiniVerse is a complex tool with many advanced features, so simplifying the interface without sacrificing functionality required careful consideration. Incorporating Infinidat's new branding sleek typography, updated color palettes, and more intuitive layouts—was also essential.
